The 2003 UCP Annual Conference, Charting a New Course, will be held in Mobile, Alabama, at the Adamís Mark Hotel, overlooking the beautiful Mobile Bay and Historic Downtown. See the packed conference agendas below:
This year's annual conference focuses on tracks on Program Services, Human Resources, Administrative Best Practices, Policy and Development. The pre-conference sessions being offered include affiliate Web site template training, a new Executive Directors' workshop and volunteer development workshop. Also, included in this yearís conference are the Awards for Excellence and Commitment to Quality winners.
Additionally, the day and a half Development Conference that precedes the annual conference will focus on the new PSAs, as well as sessions on marketing tips, ethics in marketing and fundraising, special events, and setting up a development office, among others.
The Adamís Mark is the perfect setting and is conveniently located in the Historic District in downtown Mobile and is 25 miles from the Mobile airport. Other airport options are Pensacola, FL (65 miles) and Gulfport, MS (60 miles). The hotel is centrally located to many of the cityís attractions including shopping, restaurants and lots of live music.
