Infantile Spasms/Tremors
My 18 month old grandaughter is having these spasms approx. every 4 weeks, she and her parents get no sleep or respite from the shaking and crying for the better part of 10 days or so. The Dr. now is reluctant to up her meds. and wants her to "ride it out." She is on Klonipin, Baclofen, and all the latest and greatest. Has anyone any other ideas? We are worried about her increased heart rate with the spasms and continuous crying etc. Has anyone tried conscious sedation or any other options? Thanks to all.
