Swimming Can Be Fun!
I agree that the Abilitations catalog is an excellent resource, as are a few other similar companies. I have a 19-year old son with CP who has very little physical control with his body, and we use a ring float (pg 271 of the Summer 2003 SporTime Abilitations catalog), as well as a noodle for additional support. This works decently with my son, however, it still isn't stable enough for me to let go of him because of his waist to head height. My son LOVES being in the water! Good luck in your search . . .
