child abuse in schools
I have just found this site and am just getting familiar with it. I was wondering if anyone has had the misfortune to discover how your state handles allegations of child abuse within the schools (either public or private). I have discovered that Iowa does not allow for abuse investigations when the teacher or other school employee is the abuser (during the school day). I understand that Minnesota has a part of their "Department of Education" handling this issue. I believe Arkansas does nothing to protect kids in school either. Isn't about time our kids were protected across all settings?
