Careers in the Arts

Putting Creativity to Work: Careers in the Arts for People with Disabilities outlines many resources available for persons with disabilities who are interested in a career in the visual, literary, or performing arts. This brochure includes helpful tips on weighing career options, gaining professional experience, finding financial aid for further training and education, making a good first impression, and working well with others. Over 110 career choices are outlined along with 25 biographies of artists with disabilities. This resource will be helpful to students with disabilities as they plan transition activities.
